The view from the August 28 gathering

Denison Pride held a late-summer gathering on Sunday, August 28 — in Provincetown, MA, at the gorgeous harbor-side home of Kim Cromwell ’81.  Sixteen alums, spouses, allies, and friends of the college met for drinks and snacks, while admiring the extraordinary late-afternoon harbor views.

We reconnected with old friends, made new ones, and had some surprising cross-era conversations about treasured Denison mentors.  (Nan Nowik, wherever you are, we hope  you were listening!) We talked about changes in the college and its embrace of diversity since many of us were students in 1970s-90s.  We took a fabulous group photo of the alums.

It was a very happy occasion, and we are already talking about when and where to plan a summer gathering for Denison Pride alums and friends next year.

Thanks especially to Kim and Kath for their wonderful hospitality, and to everyone who joined us in P-town!
